What students like the most

The international student body, top rankings, fantastic job prospects, and a wide variety of courses taught in English. Something that students really appreciate is the central location in Madrid’s Salamanca neighbourhood – nearby joints like Goiko Grill and Starbucks are favourite between-class hangouts.

What students don´t like

Hard to get a job in Spain after your studies - most students find career opportunities abroad, not in a student-friendly part of the city.

What we like the most

  • IE Business School is ranked among the best schools in the world by publications like The Economist, Wall Street Journal, and Financial Times. An emphasis is placed on practical business skills and entrepreneurship, helping students launch their careers in a hands-on way. Programmes are offered in Spanish, English, or both.

Things to keep in mind

  • Programmes are expensive compared to other institutions.

Facilities & Activities

  • The Area 31 startup incubator supports emerging companies, with priority going to IE alumni. The school provides a relocation service and a language centre to support the students arriving from 92 countries (2015). There is an annual 2-week trip to Ethiopia, where students volunteer and visit local businesses.
