This is a really bright and stylish 1-bedroom apartment, available to rent on Carrer d'En Fontodrona in Poble Sec. The apartment has modern fittings and furnishings, and has a cool, airy feel; the perfect place to relax away from the heat of the Barcelona summer. There is an open-plan kitchen and living area, which has a big sofa and a dining table, and a fully equipped kitchen space.
You will be living in one of the best areas of the city, a great place to experience everything that Barcelona has to offer. You're just a few minute's walk from Montjuïc, which is a park, tourist attraction, and viewing platform all in one. The local area is full of bustle and movement, and just a few minute's walk away, across Avenida de Paral·lel, you'll find yourself in the old city areas of El Raval and Barri Gòtic – beautiful architecture and museums galore.
What we liked the most
- The apartment is stylishly decorated.
- Because this is an interior apartment, it will be very quiet. But because it's on the top floor, it still gets plenty of daylight through the interior windows. Win-win!
- Spend some time in Montjuïc - you won't regret it. If you make it to the top, there are excellent views of the city and out across the Mediterranean. Plus a rather impressive 17th century fort.
- There are some excellent restaurants and bars nearby. Quimet & Quimet is just a 2-minute walk away. You could beat the crowds!
