This 75 m², 2-bedroom apartment on Carer d'En Fontrodona is gorgeous. It has a big living and dining area with balconies overlooking bustling Poble Sec, a modern bathroom and kitchen, and a laundry room. The fittings and furnishings are all contemporary and stylish, and the spaces are bright and welcoming.

Poble Sec is one of the best areas of the city, a great place to experience everything that Barcelona has to offer. You're just a few minute's walk from Montjuïc, great for running, walking, or lying in the sun. And it has incredible views too. The local area is busy and bustling and full of life. And just a few minute's walk away, across Avenida de Paral·lel you'll find yourself in the old city areas of El Raval and Barri Gòtic – beautiful architecture and museums galore.

What we liked the most

  • Touches like the exposed brickwork in the master bedroom, or the bright blue washbasin show a real confidence in the design of this apartment.
  • This is a lovely apartment, but the piece-de-resistance is the living / dining room, with its 2 big bright balconies overlooking this gorgeous local area.
  • Spend some time in Montjuïc - you won't regret it. If you make it to the top, there are excellent views of the city and out across the Mediterranean. Plus a rather impressive 17th century fort.
  • You are surrounded by some of the best tapas bars in the city. Try out La Tasqueta de Blai, Taberna Blai Tonight, Blai 9, or Quimet & Quimet. Actually, try them all!
